On January 27th, we gathered with some local Circle K clubs to help put labels on boxes for Second Harvest.  I don’t have the exact numbers of how many clubs represented or how many total people we had, but it was a very cool time!  Afterwards we sponsored a social at a pub prior to heading over to the Admiral’s Game for the K-Family Night.

Check out our photos from the day:

A bunch of us helped out the Boys and Girl’s Club with wrapping presents that had been donated to their organization.  It was a great event and a great time.  The Key Clubers even came to help us out.

In personal opinion, the Christmas Party this year was a huge success.  There were lots of people, lots of food, lot of fun, and lots of gifts for our adopted families.  Not to mention the presentation of the honorary Hixson Award to our very own Kristie B.  Below are some great pics from the evening.

Enjoy!

Hi Club,

Last night’s meeting was great. Thank you to all those who came. As we discussed, the November 15 meeting will be held at the Koscuisko Community Center at 2201 S. 7th Street at 6:30 p.m. (our regular MCC time). We will not be doing a project with the kids that night, but we would like to have a working meeting to get going on some projects for the year. Please come prepared to discuss and work on the following:

- Dues (Kristie will update us as to when they’re due, etc.)

- MCC Events, namely the Holiday Party on Dec. 2 and dividing of future events - we’ll get started on the Family Feud idea

- Brainstorm session for recruiting ideas

- Budget - we’ll talk about current donation requests and look at the budget, board to approve if ready by then

If you have anything you’d like to add to this meeting’s agenda/discussion, please let me know by Monday, the 13th. See you all at Brew Fest!

Anne
